On the diving side, junior Amanda Schulte took second in the one-meter diving competition with a score of 251.05.

"I was extremely happy with our performance tonight," Head Coach Todd Samland said. "This meet and tomorrow's meet (at Nebraska-Kearney) help us determine our squad for the conference championships. We had some girls step up and swim really well, and the coaching staff is going to have a great discussion to determine our top 17 for conference. It is important if we want any possibility of competing with St. Cloud State and Mankato. We have some great stars, but now it is up to our depth to go after a championship."

UNO's final appearance of the 2010-11 season at HPER Pool will be the 2011 Midwestern Collegiate Championships, set for Feb. 16-19.

Nebraska-Omaha returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 29, traveling to Nebraska-Kearney. The dual is slated
to begin at Noon in Kearney, Neb.
