INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, August 29. THE NCAA announced the NCAA Division I Qualifying Time Standards recently. For those used to seeing the longer format that includes SCY, SCM and LCM qualifying standards, this year it is a much briefer document.
After a recent rule change, qualifying can only be done in short course yards or short course meters.
The bulk of the cuts remained the same from last year. Meanwhile, nearly 20 other time standards are even tougher this year.
