Nathan Adrian Proposes to Girlfriend Hallie Ivester

U.S. Olympic gold medalist Nathan Adrian announced on his Instagram account that he has proposed to girlfriend Hallie Ivester and that the two are now engaged.

According to her Instagram page, Ivester is a Stanford alum who works in merchandising. Adrian is a Cal grad, but their relationship has flourished despite the Bears-Cardinal rivalry.

Adrian did not compete at this weekend’s arena Pro Swim Series meet in Atlanta, but it looks like he had a pretty good excuse for not flying cross-country!
