NAG Record in 800 Free Relay Goes Down at Texas Age Group Champs
AUSTIN, Texas, July 20. COMPETING at the Texas Age Group Long Course Championships, the Longhorn Aquatics quartet of Conor Sweeney, David Cox, Matthew Ellis and Eric Dirvin set a National Age Group Record in the 13-14 category in the 800-meter freestyle relay. The foursome produced a time of 8:06.82 which sliced nearly three seconds off the 1984 standard of Santa Clara.

July 20, 2007. What an amazing swim for these boys! Pretty nice work on a 23 year old record. I think this is a fast swimming renaissance era for swimming all over the world. These very old records going down. First, Kate Ziegler destroyed Janet Evans' NAG and World Record and now these Longhorn boys going after the Santa Clara powerhouse.
