“Splashback”!! Now where have I heard that before?

(I know, I know, you don’t really care).

But I admit, it is pretty hilarious to see things I made up ten years ago for USMS SWIMMER appearing here.

Bill, Bill, Bill… A quick search of the word Splashback will show over 1 million instances of the word. Speedo coined the word back in the 1980’s. In fact, I remember Swimming World using the term off and on in the 90’s. Yes it is “Pretty Hilarious” that you would try to take credit for inventing a word!
