Michael Phelps Set to Appear on Television Show Suits in March

BALTIMORE, Maryland, January 22. OLYMPIC superstar Michael Phelps will add to his Internet Movie Database (IMDB) profile in March when he officially appears on the television show Suits.

Nick Zaccardi of NBCSports.com broke an official screenshot of the appearance last night on Twitter.

Phelps had mentioned last year that he was going to make a guest appearance on the show, and now it looks like he will do more on his March 6 Suits episode than just have a walk-in cameo compared to his appearance in HBO’s Entourage.

Fair warning, some saucy language is included in this YouTube clip from the premium HBO channel.

USAToday.com also has a report out about Phelps’ contribution to Suits, and he is drawing rave reviews for his work.

“Athletes are great at what they do,” series regular Gabriel Macht told USAToday.com, “But you never know if they can act. When it came to shooting, he turned out to be complete natural. We’d love to have him back.”

Phelps’ television resume continues to build, as his IMDB profile clocks him as up to 38 appearance as himself, although most of them are from interview shows like The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Phelps also has a Saturday Night Live hosting appearance to his credit as well.
