Micah Sumrall On Why She Came Back to Swimming (VIDEO INTERVIEW)

Micah Sumrall of Chattahoochee Gold, formerly known as Micah Lawrence, talked in length about her journey back to the pool and what her last year of her life has been like. Sumrall explained her new life in Georgia with her husband and how she got sucked back in to swimming by being back on the pool deck.

Sumrall also talked about her expectations for the meet and if she was surprised or not by her results here in Irvine.

Sumrall also said she is now coaching at her husband’s club team in Georgia and how that has changed her perspective on the sport.

Sumrall also credited Allison Schmitt in inspiring her to come back after mental health issues.
