Marshall’s Bill Tramel Honored in Christmas Time Video

MINNEAPOLIS – Marshall head coach Bill Tramel was honored in one of the most interesting ways this week as former Swimming World intern Jacob Kittilstad put together quite a video package as a news anchor at WJTV in Mississippi.

Kittilstad, who swam for Tramel from 2006-10 as a Minnesota Golden Gopher, put a swimming-centered twist on a Dr. Seuss style Christmas story.  He even had a book sent to Tramel for Christmas as well.

Kittilstad shared the video with his friends and family on Facebook today with the following note:

“I worked on a Christmas gift for Bill Tramel this year – it’s a book written in the style of Dr. Seuss about his training method. I can’t afford to get books for everyone, so I made this Reading Rainbow style video of it. Please notice the words are in alphabetical order. Coach Tramel Trains A Team.”

Tramel is currently in his second season at the helm of the Marshall Thundering Herd after spending eight years with Minnesota.
