Marist Water Polo Adds Four for 2017-18

2017 UCSB Winter Invitational Water Polo

Marist water polo Head Coach Chris Vidale, who recently caught up with Swimming World, has announced the addition of four incoming athletes to his program. All four players come from California, and will contribute to the on-going success of the Marist water polo program.

Last season, the Red Foxes were led by recent graduate Amanda Amorosa, who earned Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Division 1 All-America Honorable Mention Honors. The team finished second in the MAAC Championship Tournament, after four straight years of appearances in the final match.

The women fell to Wagner College this time around, and also have a long-standing rivalry with Iona College.
