MELBOURNE, Australia, March 27. IN the stands at the World Championships watching all the talent, strength, and unlimited potential sat Emily Long. Emily is attending the competition through the Make A Wish Foundation, United States Swimming and with support from Speedo.
A young, bright and bubbly 12-year-old, Emily appears no different than the other school kids who packed the venue. However, Emily is unlike others her age. Diagnosed from birth with multiple cysts on the brain and having endured 42 surgeries, she is never truly sure of tomorrow.
