Luis Martinez turned heads once again at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Bloomington with an outstanding 51.81 100 fly. His time was good enough to secure the victory by nearly a second, as Vini Lanza finished with a 52.72. Gabriel Fantoni hit the pads under a second later, dropping a 53.71 to break into the top three over Van Mathias (53.72). Miles Smachlo was the last to go sub-54.00, turning in a 53.75 to take fifth. Tom Shields improved upon his time from prelims, nabbing sixth with a time of 54.03 to beat Zach Harting (54.11) and Nicolas Albiero (54.32).
