The lineups have been posted for the mixed 400 free relay, scheduled for the seventh morning of prelims at the FINA World Championships.

This is the only of the eight relays on the program at the World Championships that will not be contested at the 2020 Olympics, so it remains to be seen how much emphasis various countries will place on this relay come finals.
Unlike the strategy-heavy mixed 400 medley relay, most countries are swimming their two men first, followed by two women.
For the defending champion Americans, Blake Pieroni, Townley Haas, Kelsi Worrell and Lia Neal will comprise the prelims squad, but its possible an entirely new squad could come in at night. (Although Caeleb Dressel may not be on it, as he has two individual finals earlier in the session.
Australia will rest all its big guns and go with Louis Townsend, Zac Incerti, Brianna Throssell and Madison Wilson in the morning. Other notable swimmers participating in prelims include Canada’s Chantal Van Landeghem and Femke Heemskerk for the Netherlands.
