For the defending World Champion British, James Guy joins the squad to go along with Duncan Scott, Stephen Milne and Nicholas Grainger. Scott and Guy will swim the last two legs of the relay, so they should be a threat on the back half.
Russia adds 200 free bronze medalist Aleksandr Krashnykh to anchor its team that already included Mikhail Dovgalyuk, and Australia will bring in Mack Horton.
As for the United States, which barely snuck into the final in seventh position, Blake Pieroni will lead off the relay, while 200 free silver medalist Townley Haas goes second. Jack Conger will be added to the squad to go third, and Zane Grothe, who competed on the morning relay, will anchor.
The start list was distributed in the arena, but the online PDF of the lineups is not yet available.
