Men’s Swimmer of the Week

Evan White, Senior, Michigan

  • Placed first in three individual events, the 100-yard butterfly (47.07), 200-yard butterfly (1:45.11) and 200-yard IM (1:48.10) as well as contributed to a second-place 200-yard medley relay finish with a time of 1:27.89 in a tri-meet against Ohio State and Virginia Tech
  • Recorded NCAA B Standard qualifying times in all three individual events
  • The 2016-17 Academic All-Big Ten honoree earns his first career Swimmer of the Week honor
  • Last Michigan Swimmer of the Week: Felix Auböck (Dec. 6, 2017)

Women’s Swimmer of the Week

Lilly King, Junior, Indiana

  • Won three individual events with NCAA B Standard times and aided to a relay victory in a Big Ten dual against Purdue
  • Took first in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.36), 200-yard breaststroke (2:10.61) and the 200 IM (2:01.29) as well as finished first in the 200-yard medley relay (1:38.57)
  • Earns her eighth career Swimmer of the Week honor and the fourth of the season
  • Last Indiana Swimmer of the Week: King (Nov. 21, 2017)

Men’s Diver of the Week

Michael Hixon, Senior, Indiana

  • Placed first in the 1-meter event with a score of 453.90 in Big Ten meet against Purdue
  • Posted NCAA zone qualifying scores
  • Earns his sixth Diver of the Week honor and the first of the season
  • Last Indiana Diver of the Week: James Connor (Jan. 17, 2018)

Women’s Diver of the Week

Jessica Parratto, Junior, Indiana

  • Recorded a first place finish in the 1-meter (345.45) and platform (350.33) diving events against Purdue
  • Posted NCAA zone qualifying scores in both events
  • Earns her eighth Diver of the Week award overall and fourth of the season
  • Last Indiana Diver of the Week: Parratto (Jan. 17, 2018)

Men’s Freshman of the Week

Gabriel Fantoni, Indiana

  • Placed first in the 100 backstroke (46.86) and the 200 backstroke (1:44.91) as well as helped the 200 medley relay team to a first place finish with a time of 1:27.54 in a Big Ten meet against Purdue
  • Recorded NCAA B Standard qualifying times in both individual events
  • Earns his second Freshman of the Week award
  • Last Indiana Freshman of the Week: Fantoni (Jan. 17, 2018)

Women’s Freshman of the Week

Calypso Sheridan, Northwestern

  • Won three individual races, the 100 backstroke (55.48), 200 backstroke (1:59.92) and 200 IM (2:04.66) in a Big Ten dual against Iowa
  • Contributed to a 200 medley relay victory with a time of 1:42.69
  • Earns her second career Freshman of the Week award
  • Last Northwestern Freshman of the Week: Sheridan (Nov. 1, 2017)
