Kristine Quance Withdraws From Goodwill Games

Kristine Quance, America’s leading female individual medley swimmer, has withdrawn from the Goodwill Games. Quance, 23, who was married to USC teammate Jeff Julian in April, is expecting a child at the end of January.

Quance says she intends to resume serious training in preparation for the 2000 Olympics after the baby is born.
