Kelsi Worrell, Grigory Tarasevich Post Quick Swims in Day Four Prelims of the IU Bucceto Open

The final prelims session at the IU Bucceto Open saw quick swims from a wide variety of swimmers.

Kelsi Worrell leads the women’s 100-meter fly going into tonight’s finals. Currently Worrell is seeded first with a 59.53. Andrea Ward holds the second-place seed with a 1:00.71, while Gia Dalesandro rounds out the top three with a 1:01.04.

Josh Quallen claimed the first-place seed in the men’s 100-meter fly with a 55.45. Zach Harting (56.00) and Aaron Young (56.35) join him for second and third respectively.

Catherine Mulquin finished first in the 100-meter back with a 1:02.91. Claire Adams posted a 1:04.04 for second, while Ashley Leclair was third with a 1:04.05.

Grigory Tarasevich posted a 55.81 to take the first-place seed in the men’s 100-meter back. Nolan Tesone touched with a time of 58.40 for second, while Nick Hasemann finished third with a 58.66.

Emily Weiss is seeded first going with a 1:13.67 for tonight’s 100-meter breaststroke. Lucy Kramer (1:14.77) and Lauren Edelman (1:15.46) round out the top three.

In the men’s 100-meter breaststroke Chandler Bray posted a 1:05.29 to claim the first-place seed for tonight’s finals. Dexter Thomas (1:06.63) and Trevor Carroll (1:06.93) are seeded second and third respectively.

Bailey Pressey posted a 2:21.67 to claim the first-place seed in the women’s 200-meter IM. Sammie Burchill turned in a 2:22.25, while Lauren Edelman was a 2:22.44.
