Katinka Hosszu Pushes Through Stomach Illness (Video)

The Iron Lady Katinka Hosszu wasn’t so iron today as she was hit with a stomach illness at the Arena Pro Swim Series Mesa.

Hosszu, however, decided to swim through the illness today so that she’d learn something from the process in case she were to be sick during the Olympics.

Hosszu swam in three events tonight, winning the 100-meter back even while ill.

What a lovely, humble, friendly lady. Her English is admirable too! I hope she gets Olympic gold as a reward for her efforts of the past few years. Swims fast all year round – I wish someone would ask her why she goes near max. pace in heats though… the 4:36 in heats wasn’t needed!
Looking forward to her book coming out in English.
