Junior National Finalist Gavin Keogh Sends 2025 Verbal to NC State

NEW COMMIT: Backstroker Gavin Keogh of Erie, Colorado, has announced his verbal commitment to continue his academic and swimming career at NC State beginning in Fall 2025.

He will join Tyler Bardak and Aaron Davidson in Raleigh as a member of the Wolfpack’s Class of 2029.

Regarding his commitment, he said:

“I am stoked to announce my verbal commitment to NC State. I would like to thank the staff for giving me the opportunity to continue my athletic and academic career at NC State. Huge thanks to my friends, coaches, and especially my parents for believing in me. Go Pack!!”

Keogh does his club swimming with Flatiron Athletic Club and earned silver in the 200 back at Juniors West earlier this month. This past summer, he won the 200m back at San Antonio Futures before going on to earn bronze in that event at Junior Nationals.

Keogh is currently a junior at Monarch High School. He was the runner-up in the 100 back and placed fifth in the 200 IM at the 2023 Colorado 5A State Championship. He took sixth in the 100 back during his freshman season.
