This morning two time Olympic medalist Jessica Hardy announced that she suffered a concussion at the Arena Pro Swim Series meet in Mesa, Friday night.

According to Mark Schubert, Hardy’s head coach at Golden West, Hardy passed her concussion test and is slowly making her way back into the water.

While the incident lead to a medical scratch of finals Friday night and kept her out of the final day of the meet, it appears she is already on her way to recovery.

The 29 year old will be looking to punch her ticket to her second Olympic Games at the US Olympic Trials, beginning June 26 in Omaha.
