PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania, May 21. MACCABI USA is looking for Jewish swimmers for the 19th World Maccabiah Games Swim Team. Applications to be part of the Games, held in Israel in July 2013, are now available at www.maccabiusa.com.
The Maccabiah Games are the third-largest sporting competition in the world, featuring more than 8,000 Jewish athletes from more than 60 countries.
Applications are being accepted for 24 juniors (12 girls, 12 boys, birthdates in 1997, 98 and 99) as well as 24 open swimmers from other age ranges. Opening ceremonies will be July 17, 2013.
