The Wolverines closed the season by going 2-1 at the CWPA Division III Championships in New London, Conn. The CWPA honored Hunt as its Division III Eastern Division Coach of the Year for the 2019 season.

Elizabeth Andrews (Newberg, Ore./Veritas) and Tessa Leatherwood (Hurst, Texas/Colleyville Covenant) both earned Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) All-America recognition after the 2019 season.

Hunt’s teams also excelled in the classroom as six student-athletes earned ACWPC All-Academic distinction in 2019. In 2017, Abby Jank earned CoSIDA Academic All-America honors.

Hunt also worked as the assistant swimming and diving coach at Grove City. She helped the women’s program to four Presidents’ Athletic Conference titles during her tenure. Grove City’s men’s swimming and diving squad won the 2019 conference crown.

Hunt came to Grove City after spending the five years at California Baptist University. She earned four letters as a member of the Cal Baptist women’s water polo team from 2010 to 2014, helping CBU to a 97-50 aggregate record and recording 70 career goals and 110 career assists during her four seasons of play (2010-12, 2014).

She graduated summa cum laude from Cal Baptist in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and finished her master’s degree in kinesiology at CBU in 2014.

Hunt’s coaching career began as an assistant coach for the Alberta Water Polo Association’s provincial team from June 2010 to August 2013.
