Henry Bouncing Back from Illness

MELBOURNE, Australia, February 27. SIDELINED last week by a stomach ailment, Jodie Henry turned in a solid effort Monday in a 50-meter freestyle at the Australian Institute of Sport. Coach Shannon Rollason said Henry clocked a time of 25.49, just behind the 25.23 of training partner Alice Mills. Henry is preparing for next month's World Championships.
Henry figures to be a busy athlete at the World Champs, particularly while taking part in the 100 freestyle. Considering the depth of that event, there will be no time for relaxation with the likes of Libby Lenton, Natalie Coughlin, Britta Steffen and Amanda Weir in the mix. Henry will also be a force on the Australian relays.
