Henri Serandour Retired From IOC

LAUSANNE, Switzerland, July 9. MEMBERS of the aquatics community lost a spot on the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as France's Henri Serandour retired from the organization today.
Serandour entered the Olympic sports administration realm in 1980 when he became president of the French Swimming Federation from 1980-93. He also served concurrently as the vice president of the European Swimming League from 1984-92.
He also served as a member of FINA spanning 1992-96, while also serving as the Mission Chief of the Barcelona Games in 1992.
