Katie Ledecky, already the winner of the 400 free in Mesa, will be among the favorites in both the 400 IM and 200 free on day two. She won Olympic gold in the 200 free last summer in Rio.

In the men’s 200 free, Olympic bronze medalist Conor Dwyer will be in the pool, and Olympic silver medalist Chase Kalisz should bethe class of the men’s 400 IM field. Meanwhile World Short Course silver medalist Jacob Pebley highlights the field in the men’s 200 back.

The 50 freestyles are always exciting, and those in Mesa should be no different as Simone Manuel highlights the women’s race and Nathan Adrian and Anthony Ervin the men’s. All three won individual Olympic medals in the event in Rio.
