Grigory Tarasevich owned the top spot in this evening’s men’s 100 back final at the TYR Pro Swim Series Bloomington, where he dropped over a second from prelims to clock in at 54.28. Nikos Sofianidi was not to be ignored, as he turned in an impressive 55.12 to earn second, followed by Gabriel Fantoni (55.25). Coleman Stewart dropped to fourth with a slight add from the morning, dropping a 55.60 to beat Nicolas Albiero (56.37) and Zachary Poti (56.41). Jacob Steele and Hunter Armstrong brought up the rear with impressive times of their own, exemplifying the heat’s depth with times of 56.49 and 56.71, respectively.
