Gretchen Walsh, Katie Ledecky Headline Star-Filled Field for Indy Stop of Pro Series (Psych Sheets)

The next stop of the USA Swimming TYR Pro Series is just a week away, with competition scheduld for June 17-20 at the famed Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis. According to the psych sheets, which were just released, the meet will be stacked with talent. Headlining the field will be world-record holders Gretchen Walsh and Katie Ledecky, who are each entered in multiple events.

Walsh will lead the Virginia contingent in Indy, and she will be in action in the 100-meter butterfly, where she owns the world record at 54.33. As for Ledecky, she is slated to contest every freestyle event from the 200 through the 1500. The Team USA veteran is the world-record holder in the 800 freestyle and 1500 freestyle. Both Walsh and Ledecky are gearing up for this summer’s Pan Pacific Championships in Irvine, California.

The Virginia crew will also include Anna Moesch, Kate Douglass, Alex Walsh, Claire Curzan and Isabelle Stadden. Meanwhile, Torri Huske is scheduled to tackle a multi-event schedule and rising stars Audrey Derivaux and Rylee Erisman are entered.

On the men’s side, UVA’s Maximus Williamson and Thomas Heilman will see action. Williamson will open his meet with the 200 individual medley on the first day of competition. Other stars entered include Bobby Finke, Caeleb Dressel, Ryan Murphy and Ilya Kharun, who is in the process of changing his sporting nationality from Canada to the United States. In the 50 and 100 breaststroke events, Indiana’s Van Mathias is slated to hit the water, having emerged as America’s top performer in the events during the 2026 campaign.
