Greenwood’s Kasja Dymek Gives Verbal Commitment to Rutgers
NEW COMMIT: Gardner, Massachusetts’ Kasja Dymek has verbally committed to swim for Rutgers University beginning in the 2018-2019 season. Dymek is a two time USA Swimming Scholastic All-American and a senior at Oakmont Regional High School. She does her club swimming with Greenwood Swimming.
She excels at butterfly. Dymek’s best times are:
- 50 Fly 24.88
- 100 Fly 54.24
- 200 Fly 2:01.38
- 50 Free 23.59
- 100 Free 51.28
At last year’s Big Ten Championships Dymek would have been a 100 butterfly C finalist with her best time. Rutgers had two B finalists in that event- Francesca Stoppa (53.16) and Federica Greco (53.56). Dymek is also just a second from scoring in the 200 fly, an event where Stoppa was at the top of the B final and Greco slipped into the C final. They were the only two Scarlet Knights to swim the event.
She wrote about her decision on Twitter,
“I’m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to Rutgers University!! Can’t wait to be a Scarlet Knight!!”

HEY! Good post
Wonders never cease
Congratulations Kasja!!!
