Grants for Clubs

USA Swimming has distributed $130,000 to nine clubs under its Club/LSC Grant Program, according to Assistant Executive Director Steve Roush.

Some 216 clubs applied for the grants which were awarded to clubs that addressed one or more of the three core objectives of USA Swimming: build the base, promote the sport, and achieve competitive success. An additional $120,000 is available and USA Swimming is accepting applications.

The nine winning clubs, which received grants ranging from $1,000 to $420,000 are: Caprock Swimming (New Mexico); King Aquatic Club (Washington); Desert Aquatics (Arizona); The Fleet (Texas); Industry Hills (California); Lake Erie Silver Dolphins (Ohio); Puyallup Aquatic Club (Washington); Santa Clara Swim Club (California); and Waunakee Rural Aquatic Team (Wisconsin).
