After it was announced Tuesday that the Eastern Michigan men’s swim team will be cut at the end of the year, program supporters begin formulating ways to save the program that was won the last two MAC championships

A GoFundMe page was set up that has already raised more than $2200 in the first eight hours it was online. Interestingly, the creator of the GoFundMe page was the most recognizable name in Eastern Michigan swimming, Delaney Duncan. Duncan finished fourth in the 100 breast at the women’s NCAA championships last week.

Additionally, a “Save EMU Men’s Swim and Dive” Facebook page was set up, and that page can be found here.
