No one else broke 2:00 in the race, as CSP Tideriders’ Gabriela Vieira (2:00.56) and King Marlin’s Rylee Linhardt (2:01.24) claimed second and third.

Meanwhile, the men’s 200 back final came down to the final inches, as Lincoln Select’s Brennan Balogh came charging home and erased a half-second deficit against Flyers Aquatic’s Nicholas Alexander to win by .01, 1:47.45 to 1:47.46. Heather Lundstrom set the previous record of 1:59.68 two years ago. Pike’s teammate, Luciana Thomas, tracked down second in 2:01.19. Gabriela Vieira of CSP Tideriders came in third with a 2:01.73.

Sooner Swim Club’s Justin Wu had a quick turnaround from the 100 free to 200 fly but didn’t seem too affected as he topped the championship heat in 1:48.55, just off the pool record of 1:48.37. Tsunami Swim Team’s Noah Reid secured second in 1:50.30, with Parkway Swim Club’s Kian Quigley occupying third in 1:51.69.
