On Monday, TYR Europe announced that they were signing French record holder and multi-time All-American swimmer at Texas A&M, Beryl Gastaldello. Gastaldello confirmed this on her own personal Instagram account.

“I am proud to announce that I have accepted an amazing partnership with TYR! I love their swimwear and I am thrilled to represent them. #TeamTYR #TYRfamily #turningpro”

Gastaldello is coming off a successful career at Texas A&M where she was fifth in the 50 (21.63) and 100 free (46.98) at the 2018 NCAA’s this past season.

Gastaldello was a part of a successful Aggie team at Texas A&M that placed in the top four at NCAA’s every year she competed, as well as three straight SEC team titles.

Internationally, Gastaldello was 25th in the 100 fly and 22nd in the 100 free at the Rio Olympics and was a part of France’s 7th place 4×100 free relay team with Charlotte BonnetMathilde Cini and Anna Santamans.

At the 2017 World Championships, Gastaldello placed 15th in the 50 fly and was 21st in the 100 in Budapest.

Gastaldello set the French Record in the 50 back (27.97) at the French National Championships in Saint-Raphael last month.
