FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida, July 13. WITH just a few heats of the distance freestyle events complete during the Fort Lauderdale Sectional this weekend, a massive storm hit the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Complex.
At one point, the meet was delayed up to 90 minutes before the rest of the heats were postponed until today.
The rest of the distance events (800 free for the men and 1500 free for the women) will take place in between prelims and finals of the second day of competition at the meet.
