Dolfin Swimwear, the fastest growing swimwear company in the country, announces signing with ACC Powerhouse Florida State University.

Dolfin is proud to announce its four year sponsorship of both the men’s and women’s teams at Florida State. This deal comes on the heels of some big changes at FSU, led by dynamic new head coach Neal Studd.

“We came in with a whole new culture and idea and structure. I wanted a new staff and a completely different direction and a fresh start for the program.” Now, it’s all about creating a team where the emphasis is on working hard and having fun. “This is a fun place to be. It’s a different type of environment. The kids are working their butts off and having a blast doing it.”Coach Neal Studd.

Dolfin’s long-standing company tradition of hard work and fun makes the new partnership with FSU an exciting fit. Matt Zimmer, VP of Sales & Marketing at Dolfin says, “Neal and his staff are some of the most dynamic coaches in the country, and exactly the kind of team and attitude we want part of the Dolfin family.  We work together, we have fun together, we will all go very fast together. Coach Studd and the Seminoles are exactly what we love about swimming.” FSU and Dolfin have a lot in common:  “We are both doing new and exciting things. We’re both kinda this out of the box thinking staff and company…Any idea is out there to be explored and that’s what we’re doing at Florida State right now. We’re trying some new things and everyone at Dolfin is into new ideas and being creative with our sport,” says Studd.

All the change and positive energy at FSU is working to make the team better than ever. Both the men’s and women’s teams are quickly climbing the national rankings and they’ve already more than doubled their NCAA qualifiers from last year. With a third of the season still left, FSU has already surpassed many of the goals they made back in August. Studd says, “We wanted to be the top twenty ranking this season. I think the guys highest ranking was 16th and the highest women was 17th. It’s like a swimmer who has had an amazing first semester, we’re kinda looking at some new goals. My big goal is scoring at NCAAs and having relays score at NCAAs.”

Dolfin is excited to work with FSU at such a momentous time in the team’s history and we can’t wait to see what the future has in store.

Welcome to the Dolfin family, Seminoles!
