MELBOURNE, Australia, January 30. JADE EDMISTONE has posted the first world record of the Commonwealth Games Swimming Trials, lowering her own standard in the prelims of the 50m breaststroke on the first morning of competition at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
The 23-year-old world champion clocked 30.31 to shave 0.15 off her old mark set last year in Montreal.
