Heat sheets are available for the second day of prelims action at the FINA Short Course World Championships in Windsor, Canada. The full document can be accessed here.

Event schedule:

  • Women’s 200 medley relay
  • Men’s 200 free
  • Women’s 100 free
  • Men’s 100 fly
  • Women’s 200 fly
  • Mixed 200 free relay
  • Women’s 800 free

Among the highlights of the morning, Aleksandr Krashnykh and Chad le Clos hold the top two seeds in the men’s 200 free as the two set up a duel in the final. Both won medals on day one in Windsor, Krashnykh taking silver in the 400 free and le Clos gold in the 200 fly. Meanwhile, 2012 Olympic gold medalist Ranomi Kromowidjojo is ranked first entering the women’s 100 free.

Le Clos and Tom Shields, who both competed in the 200 fly final Tuesday night, will be the favorites as the 100 fly gets underway, and Katinka Hosszu and Mireia Belmonte will both swim two events: the 200 fly and 800 free. Those two appear to be the ones to watch in the 200 fly, but Americans Leah Smith and Ashley Twitchell both figure to be tough as well.
