FINA Short Course World Championships: Day 1 Finals Heat Sheets

The heat sheets are available for the first finals session of the 2016 FINA Short Course World Championships. Check out the full entry lists for Tuesday evening’s seven finals and four semifinals by clicking here.

  • Women’s 200 free FINAL
  • Men’s 100 back semifinals
  • Women’s 50 breast semifinals
  • Men’s 200 fly FINAL
  • Women’s 400 IM FINAL
  • Men’s 100 breast semifinals
  • Women’s 100 back semifinals
  • Men’s 200 IM FINAL
  • Women’s 400 free relay FINAL
  • Men’s 400 free relay FINAL

On the men’s side, Russia’s Aleksandr Krashnykh is the top seed in the men’s 400 free, and he will face off with 2008 Olympic gold medalist Park Tae Hwan in the final. Another Russian topped the field in the men’s 200 fly prelims, Aleksandr Kharlanov, but another former Olympic gold medalist, Chad le Clos, is lurking.

Daiya Seto will compete in the 200 fly final, and he is also the top seed in the men’s 200 IM final, and France has lane four for the men’s 400 free relay.

On the women’s side, Katinka Hosszu is seeded first in both the 200 free and 400 IM, and Canada looks to wow the home crowd after topping the prelims of the women’s 400 free relay by three seconds.
