Evgeny Rylov Vaults to 4th in World in 200 Back 1:55.43

Evgeny Rylov vaulted to fourth in the world rankings in the men’s 200-meter back at the 2016 Russian Nationals.

Rylov claimed the top time heading into finals with a time of 1:55.43. That swim put him behind only Mitch Larkin (1:53.90), Xu Jiayu (1:54.79) and Ryan Murphy (1:54.94) this year.

Grigoriy Tarasevich also cleared the Russian Olympic qualifying time of 1:57.71 with a second-seeded 1:57.63 ouf ot semifinal 1.

Andrei Shabasov (1:58.24), Roman Larin (1:59.83), Nikita Babchenko (2:00.64), Kliment Kolsenikov (2:01.14), Nikita Tretyakov (2:02.08) and Nikita Ulyanov (2:02.30) claimed the rest of the spots in finals.
