ALGIERS, Algeria, July 28. ACCORDING to a report in The Hindu, the second Afro-Asian Games have been postponed.
The event, with swimming scheduled to run from July 28 to August 6, may not take place as African leaders have accuses Asia of not putting enough effort into the Games.
As stated in the article:
"It was impossible to organise the Games because Asians failed to line up the Asian Games gold medallists," was the scathing remark made by Lassana Palenfo, President of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa and of the Afro-Asian Games Council.
