LAUSANNE, Switzerland, January 15. THE cities of Shanghai, China and Doha, Qatar have both confirmed their formal bid to host the 14th edition of the FINA World Championships in 2011.
The pair of cities were part of a group of seven potential bidders coming from Japan, Korea, South Africa, Spain and the United States.
The 2011 host will be decided and announced by the FINA Bureau on March 24 of this year in conjunction with the 2007 Melbourne World Championships.
