LAUSANNE, Switzerland, December 6. IN a post today, FINA stated that former Florida State and Indiana diver Landon Marzullo was given a warning after testing positive for Cannabis following a doping control test conducted at the 2011 World University Games held in Shenzhen, China this summer.
The test took place on Aug. 16, 2011, and USA Diving and the FISU International Medical Committee elected to impose a warning as a sanction.
Marzullo finished his NCAA career as a three-time All-American and a six-time honorable mention All-American. He also earned Big Ten Diver of the Year honors for Indiana in 2008.
Marzullo joins former Southern California diver Harrison Jones as USA divers to test positive for Cannabis. Jones, however drew a one year ban from FINA after his second positive text at the USA Diving Winter Nationals in April.
