Dale Neuburger, 2019 Lima and Peruvian Swim Federation All Honored With Max Ritter Award

During the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, guest were surprised when the prestigious Max Ritter Award was presented to Dale Neuburger, FINA Vice President and UANA President (2015-2019), the 2019 Lima Organizing Committee, and the Peruvian Swim Federation.    Receiving the award for the the 2019 Lima Organizing Committee was Alvaro Del Pozo.  The Peruvian Swim Federation’s award was accepted by Carlos Tabini President of the federation and Jose Torres, Director of the Peruvian Swim Federation.

The Peru Swimming Federation (FDPN) has been transformed by undertaking the responsibilities associated with the 2019 Pan American Games. Under the leadership of President Carlos Tabini and Director Jose Torres, FDPN has worked with FINA, CONSANAT, Panam Sports, and the Lima 2019 Organizing Committee to deliver successful competitions across five aquatic disciplines. And, FDPN has provided great support to United States Aquatic Sports over many years of friendship and collaboration.

The R. Max Ritter Award is donated by the Ritter Family and is presented by United States Aquatic Sports to the organization or individual of a FINA member country who has contributed the most to the advancement of understanding and good will among nations through international participation in amateur aquatic sports.
