CSL MVPs Ryan Erisman, Caroline Bricker Named ACC Swimmers of the Week

California’s Ryan Erisman and Stanford’s Caroline Bricker were named ACC Swimmers of the Week after their performances in the College Swimming League meet last week.

Luke Sitz of SMU was named the men’s diver of the week, and Duke’s Keira Lu took home the female diver of the week honor, announced by the conference on Tuesday.

Erisman helped the Golden Bears finish second in the CSL meet against Stanford, Ohio State and Auburn. He won all three of his individual races, the sophomore clocking NCAA cuts in the 500 freestyle at 4:08.55, the 200 butterfly at 1:41.68 and 200 freestyle at 1:32.12.

Bricker helped the Cardinal win the CSL meet. The senior won the 200 fly in 1:52.42. She also claimed the 200 free in 1:44.26 and the 200 individual medley in 1:54.089. All three are NCAA cuts.

Sitz was the standout of a double dual meet for SMU against Incarnate Word and Oklahoma Christian. The junior scored 345.83 points to win on 1-meter and 397.35 to claim the title on 3-meter.

Lu, a junior, helped the Blue Devils top Davidson in their opener. She won both springboard events, scoring 319.88 on 1-meter and 352.35 on 3-meter.
