PHOENIX, Ariz., July 13. THE College Swimming Coaches Association of America recently announced its 2005-06 Academic All-American Teams. Overall, 416 programs snared Academic All-American Team accolades from the organization.
Sweet Briar College's women's team, a Division III program helmed by Jason Gallagher, registered a 3.76 GPA to pace the pack, while Wheeling Jesuit's women notched a 3.71 for second place overall, and first in Division II.
