Colin Reardon is headed to Kenyon College to swim next year. His older brother Ian will be a senior when he joins him on campus this fall.

Reardon currently trains with the Ohio State Swim Club. He was a Winter Junior Nationals qualifier in the 200 IM (1:52.43) and the 400 IM (3:59.66).

He shared his excitement about his college decision:

“I chose Kenyon because of the amazing academics, friendly teachers and students, and the accomplished swimming program led by coaches that really want what’s best for their swimmers. Kenyon is truly my dream school and I am really looking forward to the next 4 years of hard work both in the pool and in the classroom. Go Lords and Ladies!”

The Lords finished second in the North Coast Athletic Conference this year, after a close battle with rivals Denison. At the Division 3 NCAA Championships in March, Kenyon wound up second again.

Reardon’s top times would have placed him sixth and third, in the 200 and 400 IM respectively, at the Conference level this year.

His 400 IM would have qualified him for D3 NCAA Championships, and would have scored at this year’s championships. His older brother was this year’s NCAA Runner Up in that event.
