Chase Kalisz Takes 200 IM Title at Knoxville Pro Swim Series

Chase Kalisz was just one tenth off his time in the 200 IM from last year’s Pro Swim Series. His time of 1:57.68 gave him the dominant victory over Mason Manta Rays’ Carson Foster. Foster posted a quick 2:00.13 for second and was followed by Josh Prenot (2:00.33) and Gianluca Urlando (2:01.14).

Foster’s freestyle split of 28.34 was the fastest in the field including Kalisz while Prenot did the same in the breaststroke (33.76). Jay Litherland (2:02.50), Jake Foster (2:02.59), Nic Fink (2:02.93) and Mack Darragh (2:05.71) took fifth through eighth.
