Caption This! Asking Readers To Weigh In With Some Clever Commentary On Swim Pics

At the recent NCAA Championships – both men’s and women’s – Swimming World was fortunate to have photographer Peter Bick on deck to capture the action. Bick has been a longtime centerpiece of Swimming World’s coverage of major events, and his lens work in Knoxville and Minneapolis reflected his value to our team.

Through his work, Bick captured the emotions and intensity of the week. Sometimes, it was through a reaction at the wall. Other times, a smile from the podium told a story. And during weeks in which the sport saw unprecedented speed in the short-course pool, Bick’s action shots connected our readers with the athletes and their vast skill sets.

In addition to grabbing action and reaction shots with his camera, Bick also captured several candid images from the NCAA Championships. And now, to have a little fun, we are asking our readers to offer some wit in relation to one of Bick’s images. It is our plan to make “Caption This” a regular feature on Swimming World, a light-hearted way for readers to engage with the sport and our brand.

At the NCAA Men’s Champs, the accompanying photo was taken by Bick.

We are asking readers to provide their preferred caption for the image. Be creative, and have some (appropriate) fun with your responses – which can be left with a post here, or through posting on our social media platforms. After collecting responses, we’ll share some of the best that were offered.

Enjoy!
