AUSTIN, Texas, July 13. A pair of distance freestyle crowns were won during the first night of long course meter competition at the Texas Senior Circuit Championships held in Austin, Texas.
Cammile Adams, 15, representing Fleet won the women's 1500 freestyle over another youngster when she clocked a 17:25.83 in the event. Ashley Flynn, 17, of Arden Hills took second in 17:27.28 in the event to provide Adams' closest competition.
Dave Walters of Longhorn waltzed home with the 800 freestyle crown in 8:22.88 as he nearly claimed a 10-second victory over Scott Korotkin of Arden Hills (8:31.98).
