Stanford sophomore Brooke Forde won the 500 free on Thursday night at the 2019 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships. Forde talked to the media Thursday night and credited her win to the 500 group at Stanford that includes Katie Ledecky and Katie Drabot.
Forde also talked about her conversation with head coach Greg Meehan before the meet and how she fed off his confidence of her going into finals.
