British National Youth Championships: Daniel Sliwinski Breaks British Record in 100 Breast

PONDS FORGE, United Kingdom, July 29. NINETEEN-year-old Daniel Sliwinski produced a British record in the men's 100 breast on the first night of the British National Youth Championships.
After taking the race in 27.67, Sliwinski raced to the wall in 59.55. The previous national standard had belonged to James Gibson on 59.68 set only two days earlier at the World Championships.
Rounding out the podium behind Sliwinski were Darren Mew (1:00.17) and Thijs Van Valkengoed (1:00.77).
