Brandon Drawz Named Chief Operating Officer for National Swimming Center Corporation

PORTLAND, Oregon, September 22. BEGINNING October 6, Brandon "BD" Drawz, Assistant Athletic Director and Director of Aquatics at Mt. Hood Community College and member of the Board of Directors of USA Swimming, will take over as the Chief Operating Officer for the National Swimming Center Corporation.

In his new post, Drawz will oversee the daily operations of the company and will also be responsible for their major events. Drawz, who is best known as the driving force behind the renaissance of the Mt. Hood Aquatic Center, had this to say: "I'm extremely pleased and proud to be joining NSCC in a lead role. I believe the company has a great vision and business model that, in synergy with the major aquatic disciplines, will have a major positive effect on the future of aquatics. I am really looking forward to working with this visionary group on a daily basis."

Drawz will remain in his position as a coach as well as the Executive Director of Mt. Hood Aquatics. Julie Greenaway, President of Mt. Hood Aquatics, stated: "We are extremely happy for Brandon, and think this is an amazing opportunity for him. However, we are extremely thankful that he has agreed to stay on as our Executive Director. He has been a remarkable leader to us; whoever follows in his footsteps will have some pretty big shoes to fill."
